Lighthouse for Transitional Migrant & Kin Support Incorporated (LTMKS Inc.) is a dedicated non for profit

NGO committed to supporting migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and their families during their

transitional journey which LTMKS is considering as not only merely a physical movement between locations,

but a profound life transition that affects individuals, families & communities at multiple levels.

LTMKS was established in August 2025 as a direct response to the urgent & often disregarded legal, social,

and humanitarian challenges faced by transitional migrants and vulnerable communities arriving in

Australia as many of such vulnerable people (specially those who have undertaken irregular migration

journeys) arrive with limited resources, fragmented support networks, and little awareness of their rights or

the services available to them as their experiences are frequently marked by extended uncertainty, isolation

& systemic barriers that delay their ability to rebuild their lives with dignity & security.

The founding of LTMKS was inspired by both professional & personal encounters with such realities, the

leadership team are combining decades of humanitarian practice across diverse global contexts with a deep

understanding of the realities faced by those navigating complex transitions as such perspective is

informing an approach that would prioritize advocacy, empowerment & holistic support, grounded in the

principle that every person possesses dignity and potential, not to mention that Australia’s inclusive social

fabric offers a unique opportunity for individuals to improve when provided with equitable access to

resources & opportunities as LTMKS was established based on the following core framework:
